Lil Wayne Sued For Sleeping

Lil Wayne is being sued by Red City Entertainment for an estimated $423,000. A price which they said was lost when Lil Wayne turned a no-show at a concert to be held in the Bahamas September 27, 2008.
Lil Wayne has been getting into some trouble recently with his abrupt cancellations and erratic behaviour. For the majority of the time he’s blamed it on scheduling problems or sickness but in the case of the Bahamas concert police found him unconscious in his hotel room. No one is saying what was going on but I think we can all assume.

Jay-Z Crowned Forbes’ 2009 Hip-Hop Cash King

It's that time of the year where Forbes breaks down the hip-hop world's top 20 earners with this year's list for Hip-Hop's Cash Kings. Guess who's on top? 50 or Jay?
Last year, 50 Cent took the throne last year thanks to his stake in VitaminWater's parent company Glacéau when it sold to Coca-Cola. But this year, Forbes crowned Jay-Z the genre's top Cash King, after he pulled in an estimated $35 million over the last 12 months. Despite making 57% less than last year, it was enough to beat out the likes of Diddy, Kanye West, Fiddy, Akon and Lil Wayne for the title.
According to Forbes, both 50 and Jay's earnings dropped steeply from last year's list. For 50, it was a $100 million profit from his VitaminWater deal to put him on top, and for Jay it was a front-loaded $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation. But as the economy grips the world, deals like those won't be happening anytime soon.
Concert promoters have stopped pursing big "360" deals like the Jay's Live Nation deal last year. "Those deals are pretty much done for now," Chris White, an entertainment analyst at Wedbush Morgan Securities, told Forbes.
Last year, the top 20 Hip-Hop Cash Kings made $500 million; this year they made $300 million, a 40% drop.
The rest of Hip-Hop's Cash Kings 2009 list is as follows:
2 - Diddy - $30 million3 - Kanye West - $25 million4 - 50 Cent - $20 million5 - Akon - $20 million6 - Lil Wayne - $18 million7 - Timbaland - $17 million8 - Pharrell Williams - $15 million9 - T-Pain - $15 million10 - Eminem - $14 million11 - Dr. Dre - $13 million12 - Snoop Dogg - $11 million13 - Ludacris - $10 million14 - Swizz Beatz - $8 million15 - T.I. - $8 million---- Will.i.am - $8 million---- Common - $8 million18 - Big Boi - $7 million---- Andre 3000 - $7 million20 - Flo Rida - $6 million---- Rick Ross - $6 million---- The Game - $6 million---- Young Jeezy - $6 million

The Game Disses Jay-Z During Overseas Performances

For those familiar with The Game's career, you know he's had his fair share of enemies. But recently, he seemed to have put the beefs behind him when he told MTV that he would apologize to 50 Cent.

However, beefing is something Game loves to do. So, when Jay-Z decided to mention him in bar during a concert in Las Vegas, the Compton rapper jumped back on the defense, despite saying on Twitter -- shortly after the Vegas show -- that he'd let "his old ass slide."

The Game's is currently in Europe on his Lamborghini Tour, and in two recent performances -- one in France and another in Madrid, Spain -- he let Jay have it.

He led his crowd of fans to chants of "F*** Jay-Z" over and over, before calling him an "old ass n****" and referring him as "Gay-Z," during the overseas performance.

"I know ya'll been hearing about the controversy between me and Gay-Z right?" Game asked the crowd. "So look, I'mma start it off like this: f*** Jay-Z. That's just how I feel. That's how Pac felt, that's how Nas felt at one time, and that's how I feel. You know what I feel like? F*** Jay-Z."

He then broke into an diss freestyle for Jay acapella, before spitting over his "D.O.A." instrumental.
